The hotel is conveniently attached via sky-walk (second level) to the Convention Center which makes for a super easy hop over if you're in town for a conference.

The pool was quite nice. Lots of towels and the area was clean and inviting.

Mostly the hotel looks out onto the Convention Center or the attached parking.

Good for Business Travel

I must admit that this was a rather horrid stay for me. The service was bad, the front desk staff were rude, and I was generally and continually upset by the situation. With that said, not everyone has a bad stay here, nor was every aspect of the hotel horrid.

The maid/cleaning staff were very nice and did a fantastic job - the hotel always seemed very clean.

There is a nightly manager's reception where free appetizers and drinks are served. This is a great way to unwind from a stressful day.

The restaurant attached to the hotel has some very good food - a touch pricey if you eat at the bar but well worth the money at the sit-down location off the plaza.

There is a free cooked to order breakfast daily that was always very good with a huge selection of food.

One of the negatives is that the hotel tries to push their shuttle on you for transit down to the historic district. While the rate is quite good verses a taxi, if you're in town for several days I'd highly encourage you to get a CARTA pass and take the route 11 from the hotel downtown.
