Hampton Inn N Myrtle Beach

We stayed at this North Myrtle Beach Hampton Inn for 2 nights. It's not right on the beach but because we had our car it was certainly no problem driving to different places to enjoy the water and other sights. Other than a small harbor/dock area for boats there is not a lot to see or do near the property itself. We were impressed with the consistent cleanliness of this Hampton Inn. The indoor pool was clean and had towels ready for us there.
Breakfast in the large, cheery breakfast area was great both mornings. The lady in charge of the hot food was out in the dining area quite frequently checking on the supply. They offered biscuits and other hot items. They also had a good variety of yogurt and fresh fruit was available all day long.
There were a lot of business people at the breakfast and not many families with children so we never felt hurried or crowded in either the breakfast area or the pool.
We drove about 2 miles to the Cherry Grove Pier where we purchased a walker's pass for $1.50 for the day and enjoyed watching people fishing from the pier. There is no need for a fishing license here as the Pier has paid all the county permits and fees. Nice!
Be sure to drive over to Painters for an ice cream treat - it's just up the road and it will become a family tradition.
Check in at the Hampton Inn was very efficient - our room was ready - and the staff was attentive. I would recommend this Hampton Inn.

Unique Quality: I like the indoor pool area - it had doors that went out to the patio which then met up with the breakfast area. The price in the summer was very reasonable, so I think this would be a nice place to stay in the winter as it is near restaurants, shows and shopping. The beach is only 2 miles away and there is plenty of free parking in North Myrtle Beach if you want to visit other beach areas.
