MM 348.2 Marina at Dock Holidays
We stayed here on our first trip. At that time, the marina told us that the ICW would be closed south of them due to high steel work on a new bridge.
We had free cable TV, but our cable was too short to reach. We walked up toward one of the 5 restaurants that are here (Hooters, and a raw bar are two of them), and ate dinner in one of them. Bob then set out to walk to West Marine and I went back to the boat. He tried to buy a longer TV cable, but they only had a 20 foot one and no connector. Without it there's very poor reception - very snowy.
They advertise a restaurant but I have never have been as it went out of business before our first trip.
The second time we went on the way back in 2002, the charges were 95 cents/ft, $5 electric and $2.50 for cable and $2.20 tax. . You can download e-mail if you bring your laptop in to the marina office.
When we came through in 2003, we stayed here again. In the photo, our mast is the fartherest one down. This time there was a very nice restaurant open on the property. From their website:
