Brookgreen's Founder, Anna Hyatt Huntington
by Kentbein
The Gardens is the conception of its owners, Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington. They bought Brookgreen Plantation in 1929, along with three adjoining rice plantation properties. The total area is 10,000 acres of forest, swamp, rice fields and beachfront. It is one extremely nice set of property. Originally, they planned to build a winter home on the property. Anna Huntington was an exceptional sculptor and visionary though, and soon developed a grander idea for the place.

"The living tide at Pawleys Island"
Pawley's Island is a great hidden place at the end of South Carolina. Like most nice places in the US, it's being flocked to by the masses who want a special getaway. Who can blame them with these views
"Incredible sunsets"
Even my digital camera, which usually doesn't perform well in low light did great with this fine scene. Each time i thought I'd seen the best sunset of my life, I'd simply wait another minute and an even more beautiful one would be revealed.
