Ramada Inn, Sumter
The Ramada Inn is an old, rundown hotel in the center of Sumter. Sumter itself is an old, rundown town in the middle of South Carolina. When we checked into the hotel around 9pm, we were told there we no restaurants within walking distance and if there were, they wouldn't be open anyway. We checked into the worn out rooms and decided to only stay one night. The next day we checked-out and moved to the new and clean Sleep Inn. It didn't help that we had to listen to diesel engines idle for about an hour outside our hotel room at 5am, either...
