gave away our confirmed reservation!
Unheard of! We booked 2 weeks in advance and got a confirmed reservation guaranteed by credit card. We arrived after midnight looking forward to a night's rest after a long journey only to discover that the hotel gave away our room. They only had a smoking room with 1 bed left for our family of 4. Some family members slept on the floor in a smoking room and we had to pay for the privilege. If we didn't show they would have charged us.... if they didn't keep their end of the bargain there is no consequence... oops our mistake, sorry! I will never stay here again and wonder if you really want to run the risk of them doing the same to you!
