Lake Shore Motel: Lake Side Lovely Location
The hotel has a very nice view of the Missouri River with a cute little gazebo and chairs where you can sit in and watch the water activity. There is a trail a couple blocks north that goes along the edge of the river to a beach area - it's a very nice walk. Two blocks east is downtown - there are a couple bars, movie theatre, and a restaurant. 1 block east is a laundry mat.
I'm not totally sure I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. The air conditioner didn't work and the bathroom curtain was a bath towel - and the shower head? It was the same height as my armpit. But maybe thats the charm of the place. I saw quite a few fishermen there so perhaps they cater more towards that crowd of tourist.
Unique Quality: You cannot deny the great view of the Missiour River from the gazebo.
