You have to spend time at Evans Plunge. It's an indoor/outdoor pool, but it's not a typical pool. It's heated by the hot springs-hence the name. There are slides and other stuff-and it's so nice and warm. The outdoor slide is fun, too. There are rocks on the bottom, too, but they're bigger, nothing that can cut or hurt you. And there's plenty of chlorine so it's very, very sanitary.
Hot Springs all year

While working in Wind Cave National Park I would head into Hot Springs on a daily basis. A must do while there is to hit Evans Plunge, the largest indoor hot springs pool in the US. They have indoor water slides, a hot sauna, and of course the naturally heated hot tubs.
Hot Springs also features a prehistoric tar pit where a number of wooly mammoths were trapped and their skeletal remains were preserved until recently discover. Although I never did go there everyone I talked to said it is worth the visit.
