A Big BirdMurals on the Town
Using city Buildings as its canvas the community of Huron tells its story through colorful murals. Outdoor murals grace the sides of downtown buildings and depict uniqueaspects of Huron's history. New murals are added to the collection annually. I scanned a card given out by the CVB because it is hard to get the pictures without something in front. I saw and took pictures of several others that I have to get developed yet. It was raining the day i was there so we will see.
"Train to a new life"
This Mural is near the railroad tracks and the offices of the DM&E railroad. You see it as you drive south on highway 37 thru the center of Huron. It is much larger than shown.
This is also in the main business district.
