Mom and Pop motel near Badlands Park
Simple accomodation with the dramatic Badlands at the front door. Basic but clean, with adjoining cafe that serves generous portions at Breakfast for a few bucks. Note that the rooms don't come with television, which was fine with me, but might be a drawback for some.
My bed was a bit lumpy.

On the edge of the Badlands
Wonderful! Huge rooms. Spotlessly clean. Have in-room fridge. Small restaurant attached. Owners are local folk and are super friendly. AAA discounts.
Unique Quality: They allow pets - they just ask you don't let them up on the bed. The grounds also include a nice campground.
