Gold Town Hotel: Leads Best Hotel

The Gold Town Hotel was one of the nices budget priced hotels I have ever stayed in. I travel quite a bit on business , and have stayed in my fair share of Hotels. The room was clean, Nicely decorated, Clean and the staff,which happened to be the owners were very friendly and knowledgable about the area and the attractions. There is also a giftshop/pawnshop on the premises. They have a wide selection of items for sale, including "Black Hills Gold" jewlery. The prices are fair as well as the rates for the room. A definate A+ in my book. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is traveling to the Black hills area as it is convienent to all the major attractions.

Unique Quality: The hotel was built in the 1920's but recently remodeled. All new fixtures, including Jacuzzi tubs in some rooms. 12' high ceilings throughout and a old time family atmosphere.
