Everyone that follows Nascar has heard of Bristol Motor Speedway. Its probably the best viewing for spectators of all of the Nascar tracks. Along with Nascar racing there are many other events that have been ongoing the last couple years at the track and dragstrip.
Check out the following if you are in the area:
Speedway in Lights and Ice Skating (around Thanskgiving and Christmas)
Various Car Shows
Local and National drag racing
The Dukefest (Various Dukes of Hazard stuff from the tv show)
The Outdoor Experience (vendors and outdoor recreation show)
NOPI car show and drag racing
