Clean and Inexpensive
On a short visit to Chattanooga in December, 2006, I was traveling alone and just wanted an inexpensive clean room for a good nights sleep. I found just what I needed at the Crown Inn. It is behind the Ramada Inn at Exit #1 off I-75, on the southeast side of Chattanooga.
By using a coupon from a booklet at the Tennessee Welcome Center the room was only about $30, plus tax. Neither the telephone nor the ice machine were working, but my bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the shower and cable television both worked fine.
There is a convenience store a short walk away and several restaurants are nearby. Jacuzzi rooms and handicap rooms are available. The motel's brochure says there is a free continental breakfast, but none was available on the morning of my stay.
