I didn't stay in Gatlinburg over night, but I drove through town and recognized all the motel billboards. It was late November and off season. So most of the motels had great, almost unbeatable offers. Even well-known chains had rooms for as low as $16. I don't know how prices are during holiday season, but in late November it was really cheap. And there was a large variety of motels and thousands of available beds.
Chalet Mountain Rentals in Gatlingurg. www.chaletmtn.com
$125 - $400 depending on size. It's a great deal if you travel with family or friends. We go with around a dozen during the holidays and pay around $35 per person per night.
Great atmosphere, friendly & helpful staff, wonderful selection of chalet locations, nice ammenities, reasonably priced.
Cabinfever Vacations. Some of the nicest log cabins in the area. All cabins are located near Dollywood and out away from the city. Beautiful views. Large deck with chairs, swing and large hot tub. We stayed at a Cabin named Bear Tracks. It is a beautiful cabin and nicely decorated.
Where you stay in Gatlinburg depends a lot on what you like to do. We enjoy spending time in the park and soaking in the beauty of the mountains, so we usually rent a cabin or chalet up in the mountains.
If you like to shop and eat in restaurants, there are several good hotels that are reasonably priced in Gatlinburg.
We stayed in a Mt. Laurel Chalet. It was very nice and spacious! Great surroundings!!
It was pretty expensive....but we divided the cost between 7 people. I think it was about $350 per night.....but great for a group!
Each room had it's own private Whirlpool bath. And there was also a Hot Tub out on the deck!!
Full season rate, regular room, 2 people: $60.00+tax
Since my family owns the property and I work there, I have to recommend it. It is a small family operated business. We have been in business for over 40 years. We are not fancy, just clean and friendly.
