If you like a clean, very meticulously preserved version of a wonderful 1950's style motel, this is it! Like rustic knotty pine? The beauty of this rare-today wood is dominant on the exterior and interior along with attractive natural stone accents. This is a very small, 22 unit motel, but you park directly in front of your door. All on one level, a long, continuous porch with outdoor chairs furnished at each room door is a pleasant place to sit in the evening. Each room has an outdoor porch light and a SCREEN DOOR!!! You'll feel right at home. Nice in-ground pool right across from the rooms and the pool sits directly beside a running creek.
There are NO in-room telephones, so prepare accordingly. If you do not have a cell phone, there is a pay phone on the premises that can be accessed 24 hours. The motel is clean, well updated and finely maintained at all times. The owners live right on the property, adjacent to the motel, and have had this business for many, many years. Rates are $34 in spring/slightly higher in summer, but an incredible value! You'll need to book very early because at these rates and with only 22 units, the rooms go quickly.

Unique Quality: Incredible 1950's ambiance, yet up to date characteristics. Rolling stream out front is particularly beautiful after dark. Within walking distance to Parkway, yet off the raod enough for a quiet, restful setting.
