riverhouse motor lodge
stayed here july 10-14th and it was great. the rooms are big and comfortable. it is near the stream and on river road. one block from the parkway and quiet.

Our fave Gatlinburg lodging
On River Road. All rooms have a balcony overlooking the river. There is enough follage to keep the room hidden from the street. Many rooms have fireplaces. This motel is close enough to the center of town that most places are within walking distance.
Unique Quality: There is a large pool that is ample size for the small amount of rooms. There are probably less than 50 rooms here. A free continental breakfast is brought to the rooms daily . Coffee, tea, juice , toast and hot donuts. Just pick up the phone and its delivered in a few minutes. The rooms are very roomy containing either a king or 2 queen beds. 2 easy chairs, a table and chairs are also in the room. There is plenty of room for a roll-a-way bed or two if needed.
