Clarion Downtown - Stadium: THEY HAVE BEDBUGS
BEDBUGS!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!
We went out of our way to stay here because of a previous good experience. However, I now have over 100 bites covering my body and we found bedbugs all over the bed and crawling on me. We packed up immediately and called the manager. They comped our room but that still doesn't account for the fact that I'm miserable with all these bites, it ruined our vacation, and we had to throw a lot of our stuff away that couldn't be heat treated. Let alone all the stress and anxiety it has caused.
Two previous reviewers on Yelp from 2 months ago and 6 months ago also got them there so clearly they aren't doing what they need to do to get rid of the issue. They will tell you they've never had a complaint of bedbugs. Don't believe them.

AmeriSuites Brentwood: Wonderful hotel in very nice area
Amerisuites Brentwood is a very nice hotel, situated on the side of a large hill. If you have a room with a north window, you have a really nice view. The Brentwood/Franklin/Williamson County area is very very nice. I believe Williamson County is one of the wealthiest counties in the US. I felt very safe in this area, whereas in other parts of the Nashville area, I felt very uneasy.
The continental breakfast was great! Waffles, Bagels, Muffins, Cereal, Biscuits & Gravy, and more! It was a great way to start off your day. Also, the rooms are very large, which is nice.

Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau: Save Money!
The Nashville Convention & Visitor's Bureau was essential to planning and enjoying our trip. They helped arrange our hotel stay at a discount better than the AAA rate, gave us a coupon book that saved a lot of money on admission to various attractions, mailed us maps & bus schedules ahead of time, and were amazingly friendly.
It is located in the arena downtown. Some know it as the GEC (which it was prior to being sold), others know it as the Sommet Center (which it was prior to being sold again), it is now known as the Bridgestone Arena (yes, the tire people bought it). The arena takes up the area between 5th & 6th Avenues and Broadway & Demonbreun Streets. The Visitor's Bureau is located inside the glass teepee looking portion of the building on the corner of 5th & Broadway.
