The Nashville Convention & Visitor's Bureau was essential to planning and enjoying our trip. They helped arrange our hotel stay at a discount better than the AAA rate, gave us a coupon book that saved a lot of money on admission to various attractions, mailed us maps & bus schedules ahead of time, and were amazingly friendly.
It is located in the arena downtown. Some know it as the GEC (which it was prior to being sold), others know it as the Sommet Center (which it was prior to being sold again), it is now known as the Bridgestone Arena (yes, the tire people bought it). The arena takes up the area between 5th & 6th Avenues and Broadway & Demonbreun Streets. The Visitor's Bureau is located inside the glass teepee looking portion of the building on the corner of 5th & Broadway.
Amerisuites Brentwood is a very nice hotel, situated on the side of a large hill. If you have a room with a north window, you have a really nice view. The Brentwood/Franklin/Williamson County area is very very nice. I believe Williamson County is one of the wealthiest counties in the US. I felt very safe in this area, whereas in other parts of the Nashville area, I felt very uneasy.
The continental breakfast was great! Waffles, Bagels, Muffins, Cereal, Biscuits & Gravy, and more! It was a great way to start off your day. Also, the rooms are very large, which is nice.
We spend two nights at super 8 nashville airport. Front desk is very frendly and courtes. Breakfast is good to start a day. Best part in this hote is Indoor pool and fitness center.
Indoor pool, fitness center and touch screen information center.
We were looking for a great stay at a resonable price. This hotel offered just that and more. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There is shuttle service for airport pick up and drop offs. There is an indoor pool and gym for guest use. The wifi also worked super fast. The breakfast was also great.
Indoor Pool and Breakfast.
