    Wow! it was a real working train station with railroad lines underneath it. How cool is that for people that love all things train?
    The Windham company purchased the old Union Station and fixed it up so that there are gorgeous rooms to rent for a night or more, a wonderful dining room named after President mcKinley, and more stained glass windows than i've seen outside of a cathedral!
    The service is excellent, the rooms clean and gorgeous, even the bathroom was a luxurious escape! It was pricy, but oh, so worth it. My husband thought he'd died and gone to heaven! (he is a train liver extraordinaire!
    Pictures are worth a thousand words in this instance. try to get a room on a higher level and the noise decreased dramatically.

    It's the train station! and it's ideally located near famous cultural icons, restaurants, entertainment and recreation. Enjoy access to Music Row, Opryland, The Ryman Auditorium, The Grand Ole Opry, Nashville Convention Center and Vanderbilt University.

    • A lovely hotel steeped in Nashville history. Nashville's train station was converted into a beautiful hotel. It is located next to the Frist Center for the Visual Arts (a fabulous art museum!).

    Beautiful Hotel as far as an old tran station will take you. Keep in mind I just said train station, which means thatt there is a working railway system running right next to your room. Not much sleeping going on there. Also, the rooms circle around the upstairs floors. I was on 2 which was open to the lobby below, where the bar was out in the open. That too was noisy at night.

    Historic building, with plenty of reminders of it's past as a train station.

    I did not stay at Union Station, I just visited and took pictures because I love historic train stations. It is absolutely beautiful.

    This hotel was a train station that was opened in 1900. It has seen the likes of Al Capone and Mae West. The architecture is beautiful and the history fascinating. A must see hotel, or must stay!
