map to Dollywood
My group will consists of my sister, her two girls, ages 9 and 6, my mom, who is 74, but in great shape and myself with my 11 year old son. We will be going to Dollywood on June 9 and 10. Please tell me a great hotel (or possibly cabin) to stay---as close to Dollywood as possible. I'd also love some suggestions on restaurants. Thanks
With that many people you should think about staying in a vacation rental home. They're nice because you can cook your meals in if you want to too, which saves $$$.
I know there are some in that area listed on renterrific.com. You rent from the individual owners and they can probably give you more insight into things to see and do there.

America's 1 religious attraction Christus Gardens in Gaitlinburg. The place is so American Protestant. They have a carved head of Jesus that follows you wherever you go. Spooky. You can pick up a plastic miniature in the gift shop. Definitely worth a trip.
