More about Creekstone Inn

Great place to stay

by A TripAdvisor Member

Creekstone Inn is a great place to stay. It is very affordable, and all staff members were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. We enjoyed the layout of the room, with the bathroom being in the middle of the room, as it gave us more privacy. We also enjoyed being able to step out onto the balcony and enjoy the view of the creek. We have tried many different hotels in Pigeon Forge and will definetly choose to stay here again.

The Place was a Dump

My family stayed at the Creekstone Inn last night and it was a total waste of money. The balconies were not private at all because of the RV park accross the creek or from the other guests next door to us. It was almost impossible to get any sleep from all the noise that was going on around us, all the noise also scared my daughter. The bathroom ceiling also leaked above the bathtub and the toilet. I've stayed in alot of different places in Pigeon Forge and this is by far the worst place so save your money and don't stay at this place.

needs improvements

My husband and I stayed at the Creekstone Inn on advice from another family member. However when we arrived we were very disappointed. The room was very small and dark. The bathroom was so small you had no room to turn around in it. The balcony had a great view of the creek, however it was far from private. The only thing separting one balcony from the other is a see through screen. Also the view of the creek also includes a wonderful view of the rv park across the river. Great if you like to people watch. Horrible if your looking for privacy. The beds were clean. However this hotel is old and shows it's age. With improvements this could be a great hotel that I'm sure it once was. I would stay again, but only if I was unable to find a better hotel.

Nice Place

We stayed in June '04 and enjoyed it very much. We wish we had more time but were only in town for a quick overnight getaway. The kids and grandkids had a great time in and around the creek.
This place has a friendly and accommodating staff, much more so than other Pigeon Forge motels we have stayed at. It is so nearby restaurants and amusements that we walked everywhere except for going to Dollywood. We just caught the Trolley for that...right in front of the motel. We definitely recommend this place for a great stay and value.

bleh.....

One of the beds in the room was right next to the door which made me feel unsafe plus theres no elctronic key card which makes the room very esay to break into. balconies wern't private and we had a lovely view of the creek and the 100s of RVs across the creek. bathroom was very small plus there was what looked like a clump of mold in the corner ceilings where also very low i there which made me feel that it would collapse if someone flushed the toilet in the room above. there was no nightstand, irorn, blowdrier, or alarm clock in the room which was very inconveinent and the mirror over the dresser had been plzced crookedly like they where trying to make the place look bad or soemthing. parking was very insecure and the elavator seemed unsafe to ride in. other than that the room was fairly clean and the continental breakfast was ok. i would reccommend u stay somewhere else or vacation somewhere else for that matter, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are both nothing but tourist traps.

hated the inn at the creek

Descripion of hotel was way off base. The room was not as described. There was no privacy as you could not leave curtains opened because of the RV park across the creek, if you went on the balcony the RV park was right there. The bed linens were dirty and worn out, the shower curtain had mildew on it. Did not have micro, iron and ironing board ,clock.hair dryer as was decribed. We inquired about a different room and it looked worst that what we had. It was a very unpleasent experence but had already been paid for. Did not have cont. breakfast. The pigeons would gather on the hand rail and would leave dropping on the balcony . This is the worse room we have ever stayed in

Nice for the saving$

Off season rate for Jan..2005 was great, if you prebook on the web. Add 20% if you just walk in..... First you must locate the motel. Not easy; but it has a good location, nice building, good parking, but NO Signs. The office is locate across the street, also has no signs. Save time call for help, I think you will enjoy your stay.

Good for the price

This was a clean hotel/motel for the money. The staff was the most helpful and friendly I think I've ever encountered. Anything we needed, was handeled immediately!!! Not the Hilton, but the staffs courtesy was better!

Ok...but what do you expect for $49

by A TripAdvisor Member

Well, the motel was not all that bad. Except there was no iron/ironing board, microwave or even an alarm clock. Come on how much is an alarmclock people????? The room was clean as well as the sheets/bed. The Balconys were not "private" as mentioned in the Pigeon Forge Vacation planner, and it was more like metal grating you would find in a chemical plant or something. There were bird droppings all over the place, and the balcony chairs looked like they were out of the 70's, and the most peaceful thing of the trip was the river. The place needs alot of work especially on the extertior of the motel. Housekeeping was punctual and cleaned well, and "guest services" was nice. I may stay here if strapped for money.
