Wonderful Hotel
We came into Pigeon Forge as a last minute, hop in the car, the kids are at Mom's weekend. We were looking for the Hampton Inn On The River that we had found in their book, but found it had been bought and was now "The Inn On The River", a privately owned establishment. After making the initial call to the desk for rates, Stephen said they would be happy to show us a room first. When we arrived, Brenda made us a key so we could check out a room, what a great place. The room was fairly spacious, big bathroom and the balcony facing the river was the seller for us. The rate was in the middle of some of the other quotes that we had received, on the main road and in the middle of everything. The best part was the breakfast, not only complimentary, but on Sat/Sun mornings, we actually had a chef from their restaurant across the street making fresh omelets. Well worth the rate for the room. We'll definately be back.
Unique Quality: Balconies on the river, fantastic staff, awesome breakfast, right in the middle of Pigeon Frorge.
