Lazy river is cool

Nice hotel - just off the strip so you dont have to put up with the screaming of people doing the bungee jump. The main activity here seems to be aquatic - the pool was a major hit. They have an outdoor pool, indoor pool, hot tub and a lazy river where you just sit in an inner tube and let a current take you around in circles - this is a man made thing, kinda like a small running track, but its a pool - hard to describe, but a great way to just sit and waste time and float .....

Comfortable, clean, quiet, big rooms!

Check-in was painless; the hotel is well-kept and clean. Rooms are large with two queen beds, a sleeper sofa, kitchenette, and seating in the kitchenette - great for my 5-person family! Price is higher than many in Pigeon Forge, at around $140 per night, but you get what you pay for! Pigeon Forge has a lot of fleabag motels and I'm more than happy to pay more to be comfortable and clean. One unusual quirk: maid service only occurs every three days *unless* you request it. When we requested it on the off-days, it wasn't really a full cleaning, more like a freshening - beds made, towels replenished, period. Extra towels and linens are always available from the staff, so the "every three days" policy isn't so bad.

Unique Quality: The have a "lazy river" and nice outdoor and indoor pools that were often busy but not overcrowded. Tubes are offered free of charge for the river. The also have an outdoor track for running or walking that is a nice "extra". The hotel is about 3/4 of a mile from the main strip in Pigeon Forge, which is nice since it gets you away from the noise and traffic. Plenty of parking is available. The kitchenette was very handy, although we never cooked anything - but the fridge with ice maker was invaluable. It's well equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, disposal and range too. Note that the kitchenette was very clean and tidy, unlike many others.
