Cabins are the way to go
by frankopinion
Comedy Barn/Memories Theatre Third trip in seven years. Always enjoyable. First time in a cabin. All future trips will be a stay in a cabin. Your off the beaten path and can really chill out. I recommend country oaks, but a lot of choices available...............

"History"
Pigeon Forge was named for the passenger pigeons that frequented the area when it was settled in the late 18th century. In 1820, pioneer Isaac Love established an iron forge and in 1830 his son, William, built a tub mill. The Old Mill, now a National Historic Site, is still in operation today.
Pigeon Forge has grown steadily since the dedication of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in 1940 and is now one of the most popular vacation destinations in the southeast United States. In fact, we're located within a day's drive of two-thirds of the U. S. population.
