Wonderful, Great, And More...

The Resort At Governor's Crossing is the best in the smokies, very convinent to everything, rooms are large and spacious. The condos are very clean the washer and dryer was great. We were on the wooded side of the property and loved it very quite. The lazy River and Swimming Pool kept our kids occupied for hours. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty, very pleasant and personable the manager even came out and held and played with our baby girl which made us feel right at home. The property also offers meeting rooms and fitness center. So whether you are on a business trip or family getaway, stay here you will not be sorry...
Good Accomodations for Price
by A TripAdvisor Member
For a condotel, about what you would expect for the Price, if you are accustomed to staying in this type of lodging, $125 night in my case. Pool was great for kids, adults enjoyed too. Location was good for Pigeon Forge, not good for Gatlinburg. Common areas and grounds well-kept, although the pool need to be cleaned and repainted. Condo (2 BR / 2 BA) was plenty of room for family of 5. Staff was friendly and bill was accurate. Good Restaurants within walking distance. Room did seem a bit humid even with air blasting. Great if you need space on a budget. Would use a gain if in a pinch

Ive stayed in the Pigeon Forge area numerous times in various accomodations and have never stayed anywhere twice. I will definately stay here again. For condos its by far my favorite and is really more like a hotel except for the spacious bedrooms/bath/full kitchen, washer/dryer, etc. I liked the interior hallways and the staff was extremely friendly. In most condos you're on your own for towels. We had fresh towels everyday and the garbage was taken out. I also enjoyed access to the computers in the lobby. It was a very pleasant experience.
Very much a self service stay

We stayed here after Thanksgiving. The staff was pleasant, rooms clean, and the location was nice too... BUT be prepared to bring all of the following to make your stay easier, because these items were not furnished! You will need to bring: dish detergent, dish cloth (ours was grossly stained), iron, ironing board, coffee (coffee samples were not in the room, nor was coffee available in the entrance/lounge), shampoo samples, and most of all a 'Do Not Disturb' sign if you like to use these. Our remote had to be shared from the bedroom to the living room which worked fine, but was unusual. Definitely not like any condos I've had the pleasure of staying in. The matresses were far from comfortable. Also, on the "Rules & Regulations paper" we received at check-in it stated..."Before your departure we ask that you leave the bed linens in the bathroom floor and the towels in the tub..". While these issues may be petty to some, in my opinion, if I'm paying this price for a room, the housekeeping staff can supply me with the above mentioned items & strip my beds and gather my towels. We will not stay here again, the Resort at Governor's Crossing was truly the worst part of our vacation. Vacations are about ease of living, this was not a restful one. However, the area of Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, & Gatlinburg is great and we will revisit again & again!
Nice, but don't expect the service of the major chain hotels

Pros: Great location; very nice pool; new, clean accomodations.
Cons: Room not available until 2 hours after posted check-in time; melancholy service from check-in/check-out staff, housekeeping only changed trash and towels, no toiletries except for 2 bars of soap; always out of towels at pool. Requested pool-view, received side parking lot with reservations made months in advance.
Great Condo

These are beautiful Condo's not a Hotel!. They will change your towels and empty the garbage and give you a few things but, these are fully equipt condo's to do what you want with. Full kitchen with everything you need. Just bring in your own food and you are set. Washer and dryer in every room. Iron & ironing board, whirl pool tub. We had a one bedroom suit which sleeps 6 with a fire place over looking the smokie mountains. I recommend the room we stayed in PH 2502
