Travel Tips for Addison

May - Taste of Addison

by keeweechic

if you visit Addison in May, don't miss the 10th annual Taste Addison! with so many restaurants in the area you can sample all the cuisines in one convenient location at a considerably reduced price.

This is a two-day event held on Saturday (mid May) from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Addison Arts & Events District (Addison Circle Drive between Addison Road and Quorum Drive).

Mr. Sushi Japanese Restaurant

by kd_baby about Mr. Sushi Japanese Restaurant

Nice sushi spot with humble but wholesome Japanese decor. This is an excellent sushi restaurant for a lunchtime stop, either by an individual or as a group. I usually get one of the Lunch sushi combos; I cannot remember the name of it, but it's about $9.

Genghis Grill

by kd_baby about Genghis Grill

This Mangolian Grill based restaurant is overrated. Although everything is put together fresh in front of you, it's bland and overpriced. There are better Mongolian Grill based restaurants than this chain. I had them put together some chicken and shrimp based concoction, but it wasn't good.
