Fairfield Inn & Suites Dallas North: This, exceeded my expectations
Stayed here during the Memorial Weekend (2008). The hotel is tucked away in a quiet but not secluded area. The location is convenient. Close to a gas station - Chevron, plenty of restaurants just outside, close to Improv Addison and a Wal-mart.
Walking down the narrow corridor to my room, I was skeptical. I thought this might be one of those hotels with paper thin walls. The room was relatively small. I looked around, snapped some photos and I was pleased that the room was spotless. The bathtub is narrow but it's alright. Pantene shampoo and conditioner? Seriously, yes.
3 floors, 94 rooms, 12 suites - I wanted to check-out this place more. So you know, I can write a tip/ review about it.
The hotel is quiet! 5 stars for that. Complimentary breakfast spread was basic but very sufficient.
Now, the indoor pool... I'm awed by it - Clean, never crowded, clean towels by the pool.
There's a tiny room, a business centre with one PC and a printer. The gym is tiny and has 3 cardio machines. I personally think that is sufficient especially for a short stay.
The staff were very friendly. I paid $69 and booked through their website a few days prior to checking-in.
There's also a complimentary shuttle for guests; Monday- Friday 7 a.m.- 11 p.m. within a five mile radius.
Cash machine/ATM is at the entrance.
I can't seem to write much more about this place. It was a good find, a good stay. I'll definitely be back to stay here again if I'm in Addison.
Have a look at the photos I've taken to have a better idea.
