Central Location off I-40 in Amarillo
The hotel was easy to find and the price was right. We needed a one night stay and a clean room, and this time Orbitz gave a reasonable price for us. The photos show the back parking lot and the view of Amarillo from our room. There's plenty of space behind the hotel to walk the dog. Winter temperatures here were high enough that a blanket over the dog's cage was enough to keep him warm in the car overnight. Otherwise, the extra fee is $10- for a pet, assuming not extra cleaning is needed. We were provided plenty of tourist information by the desk clerk and given some glossy tourist brochures. The room had a telephone book, which proved helpful to finding the boot stores we were interested in. For the best price on a room, I'd try contacting the hotel directly.
Unique Quality: The best quality of this high rise hotel building is the view available across Amarillo. Unfortunately, the window as dirty and locked shut, so as the photo shows, don't expect a clean shot of the city.
