not as bad as it looks

first off let me say this..the texas brochure made this hotel sound like a treasure. i was slightly disappointed by the outside view. being open-minded i tried it anyway. being a fam. of 4,the rooms were decent size..not too small. 2 dbl. beds, alot of drawer space, and a micro-fridge.the pool was great(alot of people. it was june!)the playground that my kids kept begging to play on was roped off for some reason. the last night our toilet was having problems. i never said anything since we were leaving the next day. they had a shuttle to the ballpark and six flags. it was a God send since it was too hot to stay at six flags for too long! the staff was friendly but not overly so. our favorite thing was the mexican restaurant there in the lobby. great authentic mex. food. decent prices. not too cheap but worth it. they give you three types of hot sauce, the hottest was my fav!! i wanted to bring some home! my only actual complaint is the price of the rooms. we paid w/tax around $78.00/night. i have found higher class hotels in the area for much less.

Unique Quality: mexican restaurant in lobby-excellent!!! shuttle to six flags
