AFAIK, most of the Chevy Surburbans roll out of the GM plant in Arlington, TX. It's not necessarily all that neat or exciting, but nonetheless a local fact about one of the largest employers (and easily the city's largest polluter)
As a side note, the plant celebrated its 50th anniversary earlier this year. Happy 50th Arlington Assembly Plant!
Hurricane Harbor is Texas' largest water recreation park set on almost fifty acres. It features 10 separate entertainment areas which provide games, rides and other activities.
The park also has four full-size volleyball courts, two courts in a waist-deep pool and two 18-hole miniature golf courses. I haven't been inside but being right along the freeway, you can't miss it driving between Dallas and Fort Worth.
