Ameriquest FIeld (First Base Entrance)
The stadium formally known as "The Ballpark" has been renamed and is now a hotspot again. It's an extremely nice a well kept stadium. In fact, I'd bet money it's the most beautiful baseball stadium in US. Bring money and you car; again there is no public transportation system in Arlington.
The Texas Giant is a legend and was named #1 wooden rollercoaster in the world (I'm not sure it is still #1). This is just an amazing mass of criss-crossing timbers which twists and soars and plunges. It reaches a top speed of 62pmp and rises to a height of 143ft but the length of this giant is 4,920ft in all.
By the end of the day I was exhausted and gave this one a miss until next time, but I believe it shakes you around and is not one of the most smoothest rides - still it is a legend and shouldn't be missed.
I forgot to get a photo inside the park and the only angle to get even part of it was from a service road - not a great foreground (travelogue) so again this is with credit to Joe Schwarz at joyride.com..
