Viet Tofu
NOTE: If you go on a Sunday (like I do), go before 12:30pm so you can beat the "after church" crowd.
This place is more like a specialty shop than a restaurant (you won't sit down and get a bite to eat here). The shop specialize in all things tofu. Everything is made in house too, and it's great. I shop here quite often (once a week/every other week), and I cannot recall ever spending over $10.
Although there are other "Viet Tofu" stores in Carrollton, Garland, and Haltom City, this one takes the cake! I currently drive from N. Dallas to Arlington just to visit this tofu shop. The lemongrass tofu is the best. It's an absolute steal at 10 cubes for $1. Most of the other items are between th $1-$5 price range. I would also recommend the corn & rice dessert (che bap), the tofu & bitter melon (kho qua xao chay), and the soy milk.
