It's a very new hotel, less than 5 years old. The decor is very nice, the management is wonderful.
There are at least 12 restaurants nearby, so there is a choice of italian, Mexican, Seafood, Homestyle, or Pizzaria style within two blcoks. There are also fast food places within a block of the hotel.
Domino was allowed to use the outdoor pool with me, but was banned from the hot tub (I don't think she'd have liked it anyway). She was allowed into the breakfast area but not the onsite restaurant. (made sense to me at the time)
My dog could also use the swimming pool.
