Hot & Humid Most of the Year
by minerva1221
It's hot and humid most of the time, but the weather in Beaumont is about as predictable as the lottery, so bring light cotton clothes and maybe a light jacket. During winter time, it rarely gets below freezing, but it's possible! Lots of great photo ops if you adventure out a bit. Some great historical areas and houses.
SNOW in Beaumont!!
by der_geograf
Gulf Coast snow is VERY rare, but on December 11, 2008, residents of Beaumont awakened to a 6-inch blanket of snow! It was the first measureable snow in Beaumont since 1973, according to the National Weather Service.

The commute to work. This is U.S. Highway 69 headed south toward Interstate 10. CAUTION: If you happen to visit Southeast Texas during an ice or snow event (we usually get an ice storm every five years or so), remember that Gulf Coasters are not used to driving in icy conditions, and many still speed when the roads are slick!
