Caddo Lake State Park Camping: caddo campsites
I stayed at a site near the water at Caddo Lake State Park...actually, it was pretty nice...for a campsite...it was right on the water...large...and quiet. It was a basic site with water only...about $10 a night...there are other areas with electricity and other amenities for RVs. The site was within easy walking distance of the fishing and boat piers. And, best of all, it didn't rain, so I could have a campfire. The skies were clear at night, and it seems like every star in the sky was visible...Mars was showing itself too. There weren't very many other campers, so it was quiet - didn't even hear critters walking around at night...but I was expecting an alligator to come up from the water to attack the tent...that didn't happen.

Bed and breakfasts
There are several B & B's and camps located along the shores of Caddo Lake. Some recommended to us were 'Hodge Podge Cottages' where there are 5 private house cottages and 'Mossy Brake Lodge' , a B&B.
