Really GREAT hotel!

We were in town for a short visit.. for a tournament, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay. It was a last minute trip, and most hotels were fully booked for the weekend. E-Z Travel Motor Inn was really reasonably priced, very clean and quite nice for an older hotel. It's located in a very safe part of town, surrounded by plenty of restaurants and quick shopping. It's not the Hilton, but if you're looking for a really nice, clean, safe hotel.. this is it! Great prices and wonderful staff. If we're ever passing through for a night.. we'll definitely look them up and stay again.

Travel Tips for College Station

Texas A&M is the place to be!

by Boozoo

College Station is located about 90 miles north of Houston and is the home of Texas A&M University (Gig Em Aggies!)

I went to Texas A&M from 1987 through the end of 1990.
Yes, I actually got my degree - much to the surprise of some and chagrin of others. :-)

No one place or group or people changed my life more than A&M (with the exception of my parents of course. Hi Mom! Hi Dad!). If you're looking into schools to go to and you want a place that doesn't riot and burn flags like those Berkeley hippies or worse yet... those little teasippers at Longhorn Junior High in Austin, TAMU is your place!

TAMU was founded in 1876 as a small military college. It is now a large co-ed school (a bit over 40,000 students), but even though it has grown so much, it is still the friendliest campus you will ever walk on and tradition runs deeper than the nearby Brazos River. The Corps of Cadets is still a trademark campus presence, but no... not everyone is in the Corps
