The Best Western Lodge at Creel: Creel-The Highest Point in the Canyon
The construction, decor, and layout of the Lodge resemble the old-style motels that you find next to U.S. national parks. Each room has the rustic decor with gas-burnin fireplace located centrally in the town of Creel. The hotel offers day trips and multi-day trips to the surrounding canyon areas. There is an on-site restaurant as well as spa services. The van meets all trains.
The food in the restaurant was Americanized Mexican food and service was mediocre at times. There is a massage service at the spa which was also mediocre.
I wasn't quite as impressed with this place as other people who wrote reviews on websites which gave it a much higher rating than I would.

Hotel Posada Barrancas Mirador: The Mirador-Most Spectacular View in Copper Canyon
The Posada Barrancas Mirador Hotel near the highest point of the canyon overlooks awe-inspiring scenery from the rim of Copper Canyon. This deluxe hotel is surrounded by pine trees and appears to be carved out of the mountain.
Unique Quality: The Posada Mirador has unique in architecture and decor and each of its 48 rooms and suites has a private terrace where you can enjoy one of the most gorgeous views of the canyon. It is a bird watchers paradise. The hotel reflects the Tarahumara Indian influence and culture of the state of Chihuahua. Each room has a private bath, two doble beds and authentic furniture. It is located near a small village of the Tarahumara Indians.
The view is most specatacular at the 3rd floor rooms.

Posada del Hidalgo: Posada del Hidalgo in El Fuerte
Posada del Hidalgo is a beautiful colonial mansion built in 1890. The hotel has 54 rooms with three styles including old high ceilings with 240 Amapa wood beams and two story balconies which are the original bedrooms of the mansion.
The newer style rooms face the breathtaking garden typical of the old tropical colonial houses. The newest section has 12 beautiful rooms with modern amenities in the colonial design, surrounding tropical garden. All rooms are air-conditioned with private tile baths. There is a swimming pool with adjoining bar, a curio shop and a meeting or convention room.
Unique Quality: Beautiful hacienda style hotel in central downtown El Fuerte walking disance to everything. Hotel employees are very nice and accommodating. Local walking tours available through hotel.

Hotel Mision Cerocahui: Seclusion at Hotel Mision in Cerocahui
Hotel Mision is right on the town's little plaza. Rooms have hot water and electricity. The lobby and restaurant area surrounds a large rock fireplace. The food is adequate but don't expect great Mexican food as they cater more to Americans. Ranch-style rooms (with tile floors, wood-burning stoves, and kerosene lanterns) are comfortable. The hotel offers a few tours, including rides to Cerro Gallego, Urique, and the local waterfalls.
I would NOT recommend this place to a single traveler as there is not enough to do and it is very removed from everything. I would instead spend an extra day at Posada Barrancas Mirador or another more interesting place.
Unique Quality: Seclusion. I wasn't too impressed with this place as a single traveler.

Quality Inn Chihuahua: Chihuahua Gateway to Copper Canyon Railroad
This is a business class hotel as Chihuahua is not a tourist destination. The rooms were nice with dataport and the restaurant food via room service was the best Mexican food I had on the entire trip. It is walking distance of the Cathedral and Plaza.
Unique Quality: Convenient location.
