Where are the best beach of Corpus Christi ?
Is there a danger to swim there (too much waves) ?

Go to Port Aransas. Make sure you get a 6$ sticker to put on your windshield so you can park your car anywhere, aanytime on the beach. Look for the little trailer at the entrance of the beach to buy them. I stayed at the plantation Inn. Great deal. Good luck.
I enjoyed Padre Island National Seashore. It is a government owned beach, but it has alot of activities.

Ray the waters of the island are in general calm and very nice for swimming.Stay on the gulf side . The beach itself was voted the 3rd best in the states by the travel channel. here a very useful site.

as the others said padre island,"jp luby park" or just drive till you find a spot you like but I also like the one next to the lexington an old battle ship. mite be a bit cold bye then but today was heat index 109, and water temp 84, also hotels in port aransas get alot cheaper after labor day, I would call and ask a cheap one is tarpon inn
Most of all, I enjoy the solitude of this beach. It's not hard to find a spot in which no one is seen in either direction.
I believe in late June early July, a tractor trolls the beach clearing away the massive amounts of seaweed.
I have lived here all my life, except for 4 years in the Navy, during the vietnam era. To me, fall is the best time of the year in Corpus.
The outdoors is great. It is tough, deciding to go hunting or fishing, as both are very good in the fall. Now i mostly settle for hunting with my digi cam, one with 48x zoom, so getting wildlife pics is great. Even in my back yard, har har. Can you see the woodpecker waiting his chance to pounce on the red kernals in the h.e.b. dog food?
Even in the fall it is still warm enuf to go sailboarding.
The same great wind that speeds the sailboarders along, makes a two man project to get the sail put away for the day.
Once the wind dies down after the first really strong cold front, it is time to head to the Hans Suter Bird walk, @ nile n ennis joslin, before sunrise,,,
the air might be cold,, but the water is warm and the steam is backlighted by the rising sun. from a yuky source for folks, but grrrrrrrreat for the plants.
