Hours: Visitor Center open weekdays 9 am - 4 pm. Call for tour times. The King Ranch is one of the largest and oldest working cattle and horse ranches in the world. This is the birthplace of the American ranching industry, founder of the Santa Gertrudis breed of cattle, and home of the first registered American Quarter Horse. Tours on ranch's history, wildlife and agriculture offered.

My host family had a condominium in Corpus Christi so we stayed there during our holiday. There was the Gulf of Mexico in front of the condo and very beautiful town Padre Island behind the gulf. I really enjoyed staying there. I think there is one of the resort areas what we call, but it's not too much popular.
