Nice Budget Motel on the Bay
Many of the places I write up are nice places to stop as you go from one place to another. Corpus Christi is a destination itself. And if you are coming here to stay a little while, why not stay in a nice place? The Super 8-Bayfront is a nice compromise between luxury and budget. Price as of April 2012 started at $64. Not the fanciest place on the bay but nice and a great deal for the price.
Unique Quality: Close to many of the attractions in town.

An American Antique Best Avoided
I was recommended by another to stay here mainly because he knew the owner of the property. He said it was in a good location.
When I arrived at the hotel, the desk clerk was incompetent to the extent that he asked me to make a reservation on line rather than make the reservation! I made the reservation and then checked in!
The rooms were musty and very very old fashioned the kind of hotels USA used to have thirty or forty years ago.
I had just come from Asia and you can be sure that for the price paid for this hotel, I could have luxurious accomodations in Asia . Too pricey for what they offer. The breakfast was the unhealthiest i had seen and the morning front desk person was not helpful either.
Unique Quality: This is not a place to stay

You are cheated by its good location but everything else is not up to standard
