Hello,
Please help. I am planning a girl weekend in Dallas for the summer sometime. We all live in the Fort Worth area, so we've been to Dallas before. i want some fun girlie ideas. Not the normal tourist sites. Give me some ideas.

There is a chocolate/ wine bar on Oak Lawn that is supposed to be excellent - Chocolate Secrets. http://www.chocolatesecrets.net/index.htm
If you have plenty of money you can always get some spa treatments and a room at the Mansion on Turtle Creek. I did that for a wedding shower/bridal party and it was really fun! Each is about $50 but for a girl weekend we splurged :)
The famous flying red horse above the old Magnolia Petroleum Co. building marks the historic Marcantile Bank clock tower, which for many years was the tallest building in town and now includes residential condominiums.

The dance steps are usually small and close to the ground, no leaping around or anything very aerobatic and a lot of the time the dance is bent over in a crouch. Bishop Arts District, just a couple of miles from downtown. There are great little restaurants here. Vela Cruz is the newest one, offering gourmet mexican food, in cozy sheek atmoshpere, only seven tables. For desert, we like to walk to the soda pop shop around the corner. They have coolers full of imported sodas. Also Hatties is another local favorite of the neighborhood. I like to eat the pecan crusted catfish. Always a full house.

This is 2-in-1 club--at least on Saturday nights. One portion is techno music and other part is pop/hip-hop music. This club is kind of a mixture between a nighbar out on the lounge and the Addam's family house...if that makes any sense. Anyway, it's a cool club. Well, they seem to allow anything from casual to pants and sneakers.
