I find the best way to get around is by the bus and light rail system operated by DART. A day pass for Zone 1 is $2 and lets a person go everywhere in Dallas. A pass that covers all Zones is $4, this includes Dallas, Garland, Irving, and since December 3, 2001, Fort Worth, via the Trintiy Rail Express.
