Renion town

by htd17

Did any body know when will they reopen again?

Re: Renion town

by mccalpin

If you are talking about Reunion Tower, it closed on November 16, 2007, and the renovations are expected to take 12 to 14 months. So, it will reopen (hopefully) sometime around the beginning of 2009.

Travel Tips for Dallas

Drive south on I45 after dark...

by HarleyGus

Drive south on I45 after dark for about 30 minutes, turn around, then drive back north toward Dallas. As you get closer, you can marvel at the Dallas skyline, one of the most beautiful cityscapes in the country. Riding around Dallas late at night on a warm spring evening on my Harley, stopping in at one of the many nightlife restarurants, meeting a few friends here and there, talking, laughing, then getting back on the Harley and riding home. It's pure bliss.

Annual Greek Festival

by Kodi01

This was the first year that I went, but I always wanted to go to this event.

There are 25,000 people that attend the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox church.

You can see dancing, eat Greek foods and have some OPA fun!

The address is 13555 Hillcrest Road, Dallas TX.

Best Sports Bar

by msbrandysue

Humperdink's is the name of a small chain of sports bars. They have a great crowd, great drinks, and it gets pretty loud on the weekends. If there is a game you want to watch or just people to meet, this place will satisfy. They have trivia and video Texas Hold 'Em if you like to play while you drink. They always have Pay Per View, boxing, championships, etc. They have huge screens all over with every angle so viewing is never a problem.

They have a bar section and food section. There is a pretty nice size wall between the two so if you want to eat without the noise it can be done. The website will show you the range of food. However, I've only come for drinks.

Their mud slide is especially good! They also offer kegs if you're looking for a party on wheels.

It is all ages during the day but 21+ at night to get into the bar area.

There are various spots around Dallas. I prefer the one in Addison. Bring your wallet? Wear a team shirt??

Gay and Lesbian Clubs

by elise_crash about Oak Lawn and Cedar Springs

Cedar Springs (a streetname), located about 7 to 10 minutes from downtown (driving) is the main strip of gay and lesbian clubs. You can just ask any cab driver to take you to the Oak Lawn and Cedar Springs area, and you can find your way from there! The main lesbian bar is called Sue Ellens. Men, pretty much anywhere besides that will be for you! The big club down there, though, is called the Village. There is also a good straight crowd that can be found down there as well, so don't be put off if you are not attracted to people of the same sex! It's a fun and VERY relaxed place to hang out! Enjoy! Little to nothing! Just kidding! Pretty much anything you want to wear is fine for most of the clubs. Also, see the website listed below for info on the clubs in this area.
