Time check was 15 minutes prior to when I had to head out the door for my "2 minute" ride back to the airport to catch my outgoing flight to NYC.

The marketplace area of the square also displays a couple of painted Southern Plains Tepees. It is really quite a roomy and comfortable shelter. The pattern of the tepee is cut in the shape of a half circle with 2 smoke flaps near the centre. When the tepee is erected twelve or more straight, smooth poles are needed for the framework . They need to be at least 3 feet longer than the width of the cover.
Joe Pool Lake, 7,740 acres near Grand Prairie and Cedar Hill about 15 miles from downtown Dallas, opened to heavy crowds in 1989 and continues to gain in popularity. It is a good recreational lake and a fair fishing lake. The lake has good marinas and excellent campgrounds operated. Entry fees are charged at all access points except Britton Park, where free launching is permitted.
NOTABLE: Cedar Hill State Park is the state's most popular day-use park. The park is a popular camping destination for nature lovers but also an inexpensive headquarters for vacationers going to Rangers games, Six Flags and other attractions.
DIRECTIONS: To Cedar Hill State Park, take Highway 67 south to Cedar Hill and FM 1382 west to the lake; or take I-20 to FM 1382 and FM 1382 south to the park. To other parks, take I-20 to Great Southwest Parkway and go south on Great Southwest Parkway.
White Rock is a small suburb 10 miles north of downtown Dallas. It has the largest public recreation area in Dallas which attracts joggers, cyclists, boaters, fishermen and families all year round. White Rock Park covers an area of 2,115 acres, and White Rock Lake. a man-made reservoir, is the focal point of the park.
A lot of the park facilities were constructed during the 1930’s by the Civilian Conservation Corps. There are bridges, playgrounds, drinking water fountains, restrooms, and picnic pavilions with more than 200 picnic tables being provided.

I havent seen that much gentelmen club in the same town. Holly crow. many of them ask for dress code, but there are some places you can join with a casual dress, you just pay the cover charge 20$ and you bring your own drink.
