Wolfman Jack
Way back in the fifties, you could drive all the way from New York to L.A. and never lose the Wolfman. For eight years from 1958 to 1966, Wolfman Jack howled nightly on XERF, a 250,000 watt Mexican station just north of Del Rio, Texas. That was back in the days when the kids wore DA. haircuts, peg pants and cruised around the Boulevard in customised cars.

Doesn't feel like Christmas when you wash the car in shorts in December, or does it???
"Snow In Del Rio"
Well, unbelievably enough, we got snow here this winter on January 16th!!! I guess we brought it here from Europe, cause there it hasn't been snowing this winter. At least it's easier for us being here and not suffer as much for not being able to go skiing. Needless to say, everybody freaked out, the base was closed, businesses...people were sent home....Sure, they don't get snow much here so it is a big deal!
