Stone Village Tourist Camp: Nice Independent Motel
The Stone Village Tourist Camp has a motel and a campground. It is a nice little place although there are not many extras. It was nice to sit in the chairs in front of my room and talk with the neighbors (4 coeds from the University of Texas). Made me wish I was younger again. The people running the place were very nice and made me feel at home. Worth a try if you are in the area.

Prude Ranch: No phone, no TV, and all so good for you
Unique Quality: Functional cabins. A couple of queen beds per room. Cabins have four seperate rooms in each unit. In the winter, they also use some of the bunkhouse for groups and families. Functional tile or carpet in each, ceiling fans, HVAC. No TV, No Phones in rooms. There are a couple of TVs in the lodge building and dining hall. The cell phones barely work and you have to know where to stand. That all makes for a great get away.

Indian Lodge Hotel: Chihuahua Desert launching pad!
I remember staying here when I was 7. The hotel was pretty cool looking like an Indian Pueblo village nestled in the Davis mountains. I remember swimming in the pool a much needed respid after hiking the area.
The Davis mountains are southwest of Fort Stockton, making the town a good starting point for travelling the area.
Unique Quality: Great views of the surrounding Davis mountains. Good swimming pool and a good hoping off point into the area, near most all the attractions.

Historic Webster House
Built...
Historic Webster House
Built in 1898, the Webster House remains a perfect display of 'Territorial Victorian' architecture. It's hardwood/pine millwork throughout the interior, the charming gingerbread trim around the large porch, and the adobe exterior are prime examples of this design. Located only three blocks from the town's shopping and dining.
You may reserve the entire home for $135.00 nightly, up to four adults (children under 16 free). Additional adults $15.00 per person/nightly. Seven adult limit. Or rent only a suite $75.00 - $95.00/nightly and you will still be our only guests. Prices do not include taxes.
