President John F. Kennedy spent his last night here before heading off in the motorcade to Dallas.
The location, across from the Ft. Worth Convention Center and a short walk from both the water garden and Sundance Square, is ideal. All parts of the compact downtown area are easy to reach - and enjoy - on foot. Access to major freeways also is quick and convenient. With relatively uncongested streets Fort Worth is easy to navigate.
The inhouse Cactus Restaurant serves up colorful surroundings but uninspired food. Fortunately Del Frisco's excellent steakhouse is just across the street - and Bennigan's is three short blocks away.
