we are visiting ft. worth this month via the tre and want to ride the trolley to the arts district from the t & p station. Does the trolley stop at the dtation?

Re: maggiehill

By 'arts district', do you mean the area with all the museums like the Kimbell? So far as I know, 'Molly the Trolley' doesn't run out there. I imagine that the regular city bus does. Would that do it for you?

Make friends!
My VT friend Elaine lives in Texas, and drove to Fort Worth to spend some time with me, even booking into the same hotel I was at for the conference. There is nothing that makes you feel more at home in a strange place than spending time with someone from the area.***Thanks, VT, for providing a forum for us to meet!

Cattlepen Maze

by ATXtraveler

Ever wanted to live your life as a steer? Being directed through a maze of pens and enclosures, trying to make your way out to the green grass? Well in the Fort Worth Stockyards Historical District, you can do just that. At the Cowtown Cattlepen Maze, Inc. Human stockyard maze, you can go through a well constructed human maze system which is designed to look just like a real stockyard cattlepen. It is designed to afford you hours of fun trying to make it through. If you plan on leaving your kids for a few minutes, there is also a viewing deck located above the maze so that you can watch them run safely from atop. Orienteering skill, and a rat in a maze spirit.

The Texas Motor Speedway is...

by Kodi01

The Texas Motor Speedway is where NASCAR races are held and it is between Dallas and Ft Worth just north.

Car racing is a very popular sport for most Americans as there are over 300,000 at each race.

I grew up with my Daddy taking me to races. Demolition Derbys are most fun.

Don't Pass This Place UP!!!!!

by Yaqui about Rodeo Plaza Shops

I was told that alot of vistors don't know about this place, because it is not obvious from the street. Well it is right next door to the Stockyards Rodeo Cowtown Coliseum. Make sure you go inside. Theres lots of wonderful little shops, galleries and a restaurant in the back. Oh some really cool wall murals are located along the top of the walls. Just beautiful. Dont' miss this! Well there are kinds of items to look for in here. Beautiful handmand jewelry, T-shirts, all types of clothes, a art gallery and a restaurant is in the back part of the plaza. Prices are very reasonable!
