The cottage provided a quiet relaxing get away. We celebrated our 20th anniversary in style. The cottage was off the beaten path and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch before leaving. The hosts are the best found any where!

Terrific
Our 4 day stay at the "cottages" was perfect! Carol and Joe welcomed us with enthusiasm, interest and delivered cheer and sumptuous breakfasts each morning, they were never intrusive but were always available with answers and suggestions. They were terrific!
The gormet breakfast delivered to our cottage on a silver platter and set for us on a great antique round table, was served on cheerful dinnerware, with linen napkins, a full carafe of coffee, fresh orange juice, always an intriquing fruit dish, Carol's fresh out of the oven scones, muffins or pecan rolls, and Joe's creative main breakfast dish! Delicious and more than enough that we didn't want to eat again until dinner!
The cottage was immaculate and furnished with everything we needed, including a wine opener, popcorn, and a "clapper" fireplace. The decor including a wonderful bed with linens we've always wanted was perfect in every detail, down to books on the mantle. We could have stayed in this "studio" cottage for an extended time and loved it!
The bathroom was roomy and equipped with a great tub/shower and towels matching the cottage color scheme.
The rockers on the patio are an extra special touch and just right for relaxing with an early morning coffee or late evening glass of wine, listening to the birds and enjoying the natural landscape around the cottages.
We will definitely return and have not stopped talking about our stay at Cottages at Limestone on Main with friends and relatives.
First Class Luxury and Food
The cottage we stayed in was without a doubt the nicest and cleanest place that we have ever been. Due to dietary limitations, we were served two separate breakfasts which is unheard of in other B & B's. We would recommend this place with the highest regards.
The best B&B experience in Fredericksburg
This was our 4th stay in Fredericksburg, but we wanted something special since we were celebrating our 25th anniversary. Searching on the internet it seemed Cottages at Limestone on Main would provide everything we wanted. Our expectations were definitely surpassed! Joe and Carol were warm and welcoming, giving us a tour of our cottage with all the amenities. Their genuine love of the Hill Country community and of being hosts was quite evident. The cottage was immaculate and the decor tasteful and comfortable. Thoughtful extras such as a bag of microwave popcorn, extra coffee for the coffee maker and even a flashlight if the electricity went out were provdided. In addition, incredible chocolates, locally made, also awaited us. The breakfasts were beautifully served, incredibly delicious and more than ample. Whenever possible, they used locally grown items, even items from their own garden. Each breakfast was a feast for our taste buds. We have already started to spread the word to our friends and family about Cottages at Limestone on Main. In our opinion there is no where else in Fredericksburg to stay!

My wife and I have been frequent guests for several years. We have stayed at other properties in Fredericksburg and have enjoyed them as well but always end up comparing them to our experiences at the Cottages at Limestone on Main. The privacy, spaciousness and wondrful food keep us coming back for more.
Wonderful getaway!
I really enjoyed my two days away from the big city bustle - but so close to the many attractions in and around very hospitable Fredericksburg. The co-hosts of "Cottages at Limestone on Main" are very gracious and accommodating.
The "Cottages" combine the comfort and service of a traditional B&B with spaciousness of very large guest rooms all on ground level with individual entrances. It is an experience worth repeating!
Wish we could have stayed a week!
We were greeted enthusiastically by Carol and Joe. They introduced us to the cabin and its amenities and then shared with us some of the great things to do in Fredericksburg, like go watch the bats.
The breakfast was 5 star gourmet quality and very filling.
My wife and I enjoyed our short time away from our children and look forward to staying at the cottages again in the near future.
Loved The Cottage
We spent our wedding anniversary in this wonderful cottage. Joe and Carol were wonderful - gave us just enough attention. I hope that they publish a recipe book of their delicious & beautiful breakfasts - it will definitely sell!!!! We will return to this little slice of heaven!! Pam & Ben, Kingsville, Texas
Quiet and relaxing
It was our first B&B and we loved it. The hosts were great and the food was very good. The cottage was just like being at home. We are going back for sure.
