I booked this one off the web before we left knowing that we would probably arrive a little late into Galveston. We were given a room on the 2nd floor which overlooked the main building and out to the water. Certainly comfortable enough and good location. There is a Mexican Restaurant on one side and a big Kroger Supermarket next door if you need to pick up any thing (has a good deli which we used the following night for a light dinner).

We were to have spent only one night here but after checking out the next day and realising there was more to see in Galveston (not to mention a hurricane heading for the areas we were heading to) we decided to check back in for another night. They very kindly gave us the same rate. A continental breakfast was included and there was a outdoor heated pool as well.
